| A half day off at Southern Door is no problem for parents wondering what to do with their children ages 5 – 12 that afternoon. The Family Centers of Door County, Ministry Door County Medical Center and the Art of Music present "Art for Health". Facilitators Terry Lundahl and Dorothy Scott have offered the Art for Health program in Sturgeon Bay with much success. They bring their expertise to the Southern Door Community for this one afternnon event. Your young artist will spend his/her time with a minimum of two professional visual and performing arts instructors at all times who will use structured, age-appropriate activities to help the participants use their imagination and creativity.
The cost to attend this 3 hour workshop is $5.00 per child. Reservations are necessary as space is limited.

| This class is about keeping yourself safe while navigating the sea of social networking sites. Investigator Jim Valley from the Door County Sheriff's Dept will take you through the task of properly setting the security settings of Facebook & other sites thus protecting yourself and your loved ones from being victimized. This is a hands-on workshop that's open to adults, teens and children. Parents are required to attend with middle school children or those younger. Computers will be available for you to use or bring your laptop...WI FI available. |

| "This is a workshop for youth ages 12 to 15 years old where they will learn how to care for children and infants. Topics covered include child development, diapering & feeding infants, age appropriate games for kids, making snacks, first aid, what to do in an emergency, shaken baby syndrome and how to market your services.
